"I'm sorry THEY involved you in this. It's THEIR fault, not yours."
— Core!Frisk talking to Sans

CORE!Frisk is a supporting character in Underverse. They are an omnipresent being capable of manifesting at any place and time in the multiverse. Due to their belief that all life is sacred, they offer encouragement to many characters, including Classic!Sans, Cross, XGaster, and Ink. They manage the Omega Timeline.

History[]

Before Underverse[]

While Cross continued his friendship with Ink, Core!Frisk decides to visit Cross and tries to convince him to enter their Omega Timeline. Cross refused on the basis that his world still existed.

Underverse[]

Xtra Scene 1[]

After fleeing the scene in Underfell's Snowdin, Sans gets some helpful advice from Core!Frisk, telling them to distract Cross while he can, which will allow him to free the corrupted souls. They apologized to him regarding his involvement, and leaves once Underfell!Sans arrives.

Underverse 0.4[]

Core!Frisk is first seen in the ruins of the shattered Underswap timeline. They ask Underswap!Papyrus why he didn't go with the others, as well as explaining that they can't take him to the Omega Timeline. Underswap!Papyrus responds by saying that he can't live in the world anymore, and that he didn't want to see his brother die in front of his eyes. He eventually glitches so much that he leaves existence entirely along with Underswap!Chara. Noticing this, Core!Frisk begins to cry, noting that the two did everything to save their timeline before being approached by XTale!Alphys, who says nothing to them but instead mentions details about the current Underswap timeline, noting that there wasn't anything left.

Core!Frisk watches as XTale!Alphys places a piece of paper on the ground, which then begins to send out waves of energy around it until the entire landscape was completely white. Core!Frisk notes that what XTale!Alphys executed was a quarantine, which, according to them, will prevent the Alternate Universe and any of its timelines from being corrupted. Core!Frisk then follows XTale!Alphys to her next destination, which is the Underfell timeline that Cross took Snowdin from.

Core!Frisk watches as XTale!Alphys and XTale!Mettaton fight Underfell!Asgore. They look away before suddenly being in XTale along with Dream!Sans. After a small conversation between the two, Core!Frisk reassures him that everything Cross did to the timelines will end very soon.

They are also shown watching as Ink brings XGaster back, despite being elsewhere. This is because of their omnipresence in the multiverse, however.

Core!Frisk also appears at the very end of the episode during the credits sequence, waiting for Cross in the Omega Timeline.

Profile[]

Appearance[]

Core!Frisk differs form their classic counterpart in that they're completely monochromatic, complete with empty void sockets for eyes. They have burn marks on their back from being burnt alive in the CORE.

Behavior[]

Frisk appears to be rather expressionless and distant, at times even condescending towards the conflicts and people actively involved in them, calling Error and Ink "immature" as the two fight in the distance. They however seem to care for the characters' well-being, inviting Cross to the Omega Timeline and giving Sans some helpful advice.

They have a high value toward life itself, and opposed any justification of killing, even if those claimed it to be for "the greater good".

Abilities[]

  • Multiversal Omnipresence: Thanks to their Soul essence being scattered across the Multiverse and their high amount of determination, they are now everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
  • Multiversal Manifestation: They can Manifest a physical form at any place and time within the boundary of the Undertale Multiverse in order to interact with its inhabitants; though they can only create one in a single room at once. They can erase said form at any time, as if they’re switching between observation and interaction. However, there's a 50% probability of said manifestation of said form; which, from the point of view of certain timelines, can make their involvement extremely inconsistent.
  • Multiversal Omni-Sight: They can see Everything and Nothing within the Undertale Multiverse (though it’s unknown if they can see beyond it, but it’s confirmed that they cannot directly perceive the real world).
  • Void Eyes: Their Eye sockets can transport any fit-able objects to themselves at another place and time. They created services around that ability (Dumb Ask Disposal, Tiny Instant Transport, etc.)
  • Void Body: Their physical form is barely tangible and anything heavier than their own body weight will phase through it, making them virtually immune to physical damage. However, this limitation doesn't apply to Out!Code and Void based objects which are able to cause damage. If Frisk takes too much physical damage, they will be unable to keep up their shape and glitch out. Because Frisk's HP is 0/0, most magic has no effect [1]. They're also unable to maintain said body for a prolonged period of time, as it would slowly scorch and disintegrate within a few days.

Origins[]

In their original source material, Core!Frisk was born in an alternate Slovakia in civil war, with their father Vojtech killed in battle, leaving their mother Zoya from Ukraine to raise them alone. When Frisk's mother died when they were eight-years old, they ended up leaving the country and traveled down to Mt. Ebott, to which they fell into the Underground. While in the Underground, Frisk continuously reset the game to relive the Pacifist Run, not knowing that their actions would take a toll on the mental health of others, including Sans, who in frustration threw Frisk in the CORE. Their SOUL was directly exposed to the CORE's magical radiation, which combined with Frisk attempting to RESET caused it to scatter perfectly across the Multiverse. This allowed Frisk to travel around the Multiverse, but this erased their existence from their native universe and eliminated their ability to SAVE, LOAD, or RESET. Core later finds an empty dimension that they repurpose to a sanctuary for refugees of the destroyed timelines and AUs. This dimension would later be known as the Omega Timeline.

Inconsistencies[]

  • Despite their all-seeing power, Frisk is visibly confused when Error and Ink are relocated in The Truce. Even assuming they're for some reason unable to observe the destination, it doesn't explain why they cannot observe the future of their return.
  • Despite their benevolent nature, Frisk gives Sans advice on how to defeat Cross rather than tell him how to save everyone.
